As translator??

I'm 18
and i am.. uhm.. female, of course..
i hail from Philippines.. x3 but i am half chinese --or probably 1/4 or something..
and.. uhmm.. i'm in college..
anyways, i've been reading you're scanlations on fortune arterial at mangafox..
and i have heard that you needed some translators..
i am quite shy on applying becoz..
i am not good at chinese.. ahmm.. but since Vin-nii-sama mentioned in one of their forums at mangafox that it's ok if i'm trying to learn.. errm.. what i'm saying is.. i would love to help bcoz i want to see more of fortune arterial manga scanlations!.. and coz it's really cool..
ahh, uhmm.. the problem would be, i do not have any experience at all in translating process.. or how manga scanlators like you(btw, you guys are doing such a great job! arigatou!) do it.. i meant, the steps or flow of scanlation.. so, i don't really know how if i want to.. although my chinese is very bad. i am proficient in using the "di tian" or chinese dictionary.. and reading poshu/kok-im. So, i shall work hard. uhmm.. if i give it a try..

and.. i might be busy.. really busy.. but i can always find time.. so.. i am offering my services, if u need it. but if u find others who are better.. it's ok.. i would just like to help out and support u guys and see more of fortune arterial scanlations! and.. u can just have me as a reserve anyways..

well we're almost hitting our members capacity so when you come in you'll most likely have to be a Napoleon for a new manga series. This is gonna be a pretty big decision so let us talk a bit amongst ourselves first, alright?

in some sort of heads-up, you may be getting some sort of test so... have fun? XP

Ahh, i respect u.. i mean, everyone else reads the scanlations for free, there are even some who are so God damn demanding.. (as i see in some other scanlator sites) and some people are just soo demanding and they don't know what scanlator staffs go through.. and of course, i have no idea as well.. but that is the reason i respect u people.. x3 and Vin-nii-sama is really one of those awesome people.. i really am grateful

Your ability can be further nurtured as time passes, but what we require here is the will and motivation to do what it is you applied here to do. If you are fine with starting up a new manga project (for all our other positions are already filled), then by all means I have no qualms with yet another addition to our steadily growing family.

Though the translation side of things isn't my department so I have no clue what Vineh will make you do, but I hope for the best for we need more shining jewels around here. Oh and do try not to call him -sama for you may inflate his ego a tad too much.

And before I end this, gotta do the whole obligatory THERE ARE NO GIRLS ON THE INTERWEBS! See my maturity lasted that long!

ahmm.. there was that Kaze no Stigma i was looking at once.. but i have no idea if it's long dead. Ahh, but for genre? i like those which are less realistic.. or "realistic" but relates to romance + comedy type.. i dunno.. x3 hmm.. i was planning on purchasing an Otaku Magazine some time ago.. maybe i might find some interesting ones in that mag to share with you..
