Translation of Ichi Love Kyū (1♡9 （イチ・らぶ・キュウ）, 1 Love 9)

Dear Nayuki_Love

I was just wondering if the translation for this manga is still going on. On your project list, it says it is, but seems to be quite slow-paced. I was thinking of continuing the translation myself, though I'm not a translator (although, I want to be one in the future, as a profession maybe too), since my Japanese is not that good yet. Even so, slowly but surely, I'm going to try and put out translations to the best of my ability.

Also, I've read you guys sometimes use Chinese scans to translate. So, therefore, I wanna say that I do have the original scanned Japanese manga volumes (1-3).

Anyway, that was all I wanted to say. I just want to know if somebody is still working on this.

Oh sorry for the somewhat late response. Feel free to take over that project as no one really wants to work on it. Well actually we do have someone working on it, but he disappeared off the face of the earth again so yeah.

Ah no, don't worry about it. In fact, I thought it was quite a quick reply, since it seemed these forums were pretty much dead. But, anyway, thanks a lot for your reply. I'll do my best to continue the project. Also, the translator you're referring to, could it be Vampyrez? Now I think about it, you were originally an editor for this series, but later became a proofreader, no?

And np, I knew it was my responsibility to do so, before I started. I didn't want to make an uproar and anger you guys for taking over your work just like that hehe ;D

I think I worked a couple chapters, but it wasn't really a project of mine. And it's more or less dead unless someone asked CoolMod to translate it.

Oh, I see... Well, CoolMod, you and everybody else of Nayuki_Love did a great job on scanlating the first volume. Better than Japanzai, I must say. Their quality of the first 2 chapters was kind of subpar :/

And thanks, I'll do my very best. Learning as much Japanese as I can and getting a lot more experience so that, in the future, I'll be able to bring out better quality translations to everyone.
