Referring to the title, I would like to apply for the translator job. I can translate from Chinese to English, and I have quite some confidence in my English too. The real reason i joined is because i have some free time and i really like He~nshin!! Sonata Birdie Rush, though it is not frequently updated, so i would like to help on that series (since the raws are chinese). I don't really have any experience in translating manga, so i might need some help on the procedures. So, yeah. Hope my application will work! (Did i say too much? ><)

well good to know people are interested!

i suppose it would be more convenient for us if you can go to our irc channel #nayukilove@rizon.net but we can do this strictly via forum and some e-mail correspondence since translators get special treatment.

be prepared to translate a full chapter if you are seriously interested in joining. as for help, our friendly translator eromod should assist you (i say should since he's an ass), but you can only get ahold of him on irc most of the time so you'll need irc access if you need assistance.

maybe some fresh blood can get the ball rolling once again...
(well to be fair its mostly my fault for not wanting to do edit at the moment)

you can choose any of them

mibbit is a web based one. pretty easy but also pretty limited

mirc is the most populair one. bit harder for the noob but more possibilities. though its paid (although pirated pretty much)

build in browsers like opera and firefox (through chatzilla). pretty much the same as mibbit

and some free clients like icechat and xchat. require a bit more fiddeling to work but full of posibilities

prefer/use xchat myself.

i'm usually on at around 00:00 - 1200 GMT if you do pop by.

mibbit is the easiest to use as its a web-based client.
iirc it should be:
