Could be, but it is only restricted to his right hand at the moment so he still gets wtfpwned by most things.

well if it's has a physical form I guess even the great anti-mage Touma can't do anything about it. But I was thinking Touma will drain out the Spiral energy, cause gurren lagaan to de-fusion and drain out lagaan's batteries...all that's left is defeating the spear-lance wielding maniac

uhhh educate me on how gurren laggan works (never watched it). if its your typical mech show...the mech will just step on touma and call it a day?

lagaan is an uber bot that runs on GAR (Spiral energy like that spiral in your DNA structure) and can fuse with any sort of robot by overflowing it with GARness. Suppose this is intangible energy Touma can kill it?

still say the robot can just crush him and be done with it

but the robot runs on some sorta magical energy, which is right up Touma's alley

A bit late, but ep1 discussion time!

A bit of a meh episode really given that the Yamisaka Ouma chapter was rather eh really. Though the Orsola arc promises battle nuns...BATTLE FREAKING NUNS! The toad is pleased!

Oh and we finally get to see Itsuwa! Shame JCStaff is intent on keeping Mikoto on the spotlight...I mean I like her characterization and all, but Railgun really ruined her character for me.

I'm actually not following the novels so Ouma is the latest i got up to...pretty meh first episode; not really showing off or anything, which is what most sequels do with their first epis.

Hmm episode 3...it feels like the plot is moving too fast imo. I mean its great that they are fixing the problems of S1 (lol verbose expositions), but a good deal of story material is being curbed here

It's nonetheless a decent episode and looks like the next one will wrap up v7. After that its the Kuroko (REMNANT) arc...meh never did read v8 so it should be nice?

And yey Itsuwa next episode!

kinda depends how much they want to cover I suppose, but yeah characters are being introduced left and right, boss battles are over with a couple of exchanges and a couple more things

Woo go go battle nuns! I have to rate battle nuns just slightly above a slutty nun and an onee-san nun. Oh oh and a certain spear-wielding girl finally appears!

Hmm I gotta say the episode was pretty weak overall despite it being a battle/action episode. Touma's entrance was pretty lulz...I mean what the hell is with the pose? That didn't look awesome at all, just funny. Oh well either way still enjoying it! Sadly a certain spear-wielding girl will disappear for awhile and we probably won't see her for several episodes...

*sigh*
I know Mikoto is the INDEX cash cow, but still why is she so prominent when she barely serves any purpose at all (even less than Index) this entire season really...Actually Index is pretty useful once we get the ball rolling while Mikoto is thrown to the wayside. I guess everyone loves a tsundere huh?

Hmmm episode 5...Falcon punch was great, but it felt rather weak for an end-of-arc episode deal. Show no mercy on her and give her a face full of fist TOUMA!

i don't like the way they mixed magic with religion.. x3
i'm a christian.. and still a catholic.. BUT i'm switching..
but even if i'm leaving catholisism,
and even if it's a joke of an anime..
it's weird having them use the words "from the Roman Catholic Church" or "Purist English Church" ..i had to say it sounded awkward. x3 i'm more into the "witches and wizards" type of magic.. x3
but i still watch it bcoz the story is cool.. very!

...is there a difference between a christian and a catholic? i mean i was confirmed so i guess that makes me...catholic? and if you just forget 'real world' examples and just focus on the Roman Catholic Church in the toaruverse...then hey its a religion with magic!

i actually don't know why i watch index...i mean the anime is okay at best really, but the light novels are pretty good!

shurgs, toaru is good but not on my priority list. The science arcs I enjoy but the magic arcs are kinda meh
